Time flies when you're having fun! I can't believe it's already October. In math, our class has been reviewing concepts from previous years. Our focus has been on bar graphs, multiplication, division, and telling time for our first unit. Please look for the first assessment coming home this week.

In reading we've been exploring different texts to draw conclusions and learn about a character's feelings, motivations, and traits. Ask your student about how Destiny and her community work to help Mrs. Wade.

We're also continuing to build our classroom community. We're learning to take responsibility for our actions positive and/or negative. We've been working on deep breathing and calming our bodies in Open Circle.
